Suzie and Alex are respected skincare industry leaders, who founded HTNK Advisory to help principals optimise performance in their clinic businesses. Suzie and Alex lived the experience themselves for almost two decades, founding Clear Complexions in 2005, and operating and growing it to six highly profitable clinics, before successfully selling it to Vita Group in 2017.
Since then, Suzie and Alex have supported over 40 clinic owners across Australia. They are the trusted source of advice in the industry, and have an impressive track record of assisting their clients to achieve improvements, including significant growth in revenue and profit.
Given their own personal experiences, Suzie and Alex offer a hands-on mentorship approach with their clients, defining an end-goal and guiding towards it, while providing real-time assistance in managing the day-to-day complexities that clinic-owners face. They are now offering this unique approach to the clinics that join NCP.

Cardinal Mark

Andrew is an exit transaction specialist who founded Cardinal Mark with one focus in mind – to help people sell their businesses well. He has degrees in law and economics, and has managed more than $100 billion in transactions over almost 30 years in investment banking.
Andrew has a core expertise in healthcare, having led numerous notable transactions, including Healthscope’s initial public offering, GenesisCare’s financing, Affinity Health’s sale to Ramsay Health Care, and SGS Medical Group’s sale to Sonic Healthcare.
He understands the wants and needs of doctor-owners from both a professional and a personal perspective, including first-hand experience as the partner of a doctor who is a continuing owner in a business that was recently sold. He first worked with Alex and Suzie in 2017 and has now partnered with them to ensure NCP is a success.
The NCP pathway
NCP offers a pathway to a successful sale and exit of your business in six steps:
Start by connecting over coffee or online to chat about your journey so far and explore how NCP can help you. We will explain how we can deliver a supported pathway to a successful exit and what is involved.
If the fit feels right for each other, we will share more information about the terms of the sale and the possible exit pathways. We will also ask for more information to understand your business better and how it fits with NCP.
When you are ready to join NCP, we will undertake due diligence and provide formal agreements for your review. You will then sign up to sell your business in the future on agreed terms, giving you time to get it sale-ready first.
If you join early, you will have at least 18 months to get your business sale-ready and optimise its value. We also offer an opt-in program to supercharge performance via HTNK Advisory’s proven proprietary programs.
Once your business is optimised and the best investor has been sourced, we will complete your business sale. Your value will be based on your clinic’s performance at the time, and you will be paid cash consideration plus an incentive.
You can choose your own exit pathway. If sooner, you can realise your incentive when your clinic no longer depends on you. If later, your incentive will continue for as long as you want to continue working in your clinic.
